2. The service
Talklist lets you speak or type what you want to buy and turns it into a sorted checklist that you can share by link. Using it is free and needs no account. By using Talklist you agree to these terms.
3. Lists and links
- Your list is protected only by its secret link. Anyone who has the link can view and change the list. Share it only with people you trust.
- If you lose the link or clear your browser data, we cannot restore or find your list.
- Lists expire automatically about 180 days after their last change. Do not rely on Talklist as the only copy of anything important.
- Do not store personal, confidential or sensitive information in your list.
4. AI-generated results
Items are extracted from your text by an AI service and from speech recognition in your browser. Both can make mistakes, such as mishearing a word, picking a wrong category or missing an item. Please check your list before relying on it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Talklist for unlawful content or purposes;
- attempt to guess list links, access lists that are not yours, or probe or disrupt the service;
- use automated means (bots, scripts) to send requests, or to bypass usage limits;
- send content intended to manipulate the AI service or to harm others.
We may apply usage limits and block use that breaks these rules.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to the text and list items you enter. You allow us to process them to the extent needed to provide the service, including forwarding text to our AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Availability and changes
Talklist is provided free of charge and as it is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will remain. We may change, limit or discontinue the service, or delete lists, at any time; if there is a reasonable chance, we will give notice on the site.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an obligation essential to the purpose of the contract, and then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of service. Otherwise our liability is excluded. This does not affect mandatory consumer protection rights.
9. Governing law
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country where you live.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service changes. The date above shows the latest version; continued use after an update means you accept it.
